These terms govern your use of the Bloqq website and any apartment booking made directly with Bloqq Ltd ("Bloqq", "we", "us", "our"). By using the site or making a booking, you confirm that you accept these terms.
Bloqq is a serviced accommodation management company. The apartments you stay in are typically owned by third parties and managed by Bloqq on the owner's behalf. Your contract for the stay is with Bloqq, unless we tell you otherwise in writing before booking.
During your stay you agree to:
You are responsible for damage caused by you or any member of your party during your stay. We may charge reasonable costs of repair or replacement to the payment method used at booking, or via our damage protection partner.
For most bookings we are required to verify guest identity, both for our own risk management and to comply with applicable short-let regulations. By booking with us you agree to provide ID where requested and consent to standard guest screening. We may decline or cancel a booking if verification cannot be completed satisfactorily.
All rates displayed include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is taken at the time of booking unless a different arrangement is confirmed in writing. Card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. - we don't store full card details on our own systems.
A refundable security deposit or damage waiver may apply to some properties; this will be made clear at the point of booking.
Cancellation terms are shown at the point of booking and in your confirmation, and vary by property and channel. Where you cancel within the permitted window, the refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.
If we have to cancel a booking for operational reasons (e.g. unforeseen maintenance, force majeure), we'll either refund the full amount or, where possible, relocate you to a comparable property at no extra cost. Our liability in this situation is limited as set out in clause 9.
If you want to change the dates, guest count or any other detail of your booking, contact us as soon as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate the change, but it may be subject to availability and to any rate difference.
You agree not to use the website in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or that interferes with the normal operation of the site or anyone else's use of it. We reserve the right to suspend or block access where we reasonably consider it necessary.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you in connection with any booking is limited to the total amount you paid for that booking.
We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, or for indirect or consequential losses.
If anything goes wrong during your stay, please tell us straight away so we can try to fix it. Our 24/7 guest support line is in your booking confirmation. Complaints not resolved on the day can be sent to hello@bloqq.co.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you live in Ireland or another EU country, this does not affect statutory rights that apply to you under your local law.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one in force on the date you make the booking. Material changes will be communicated via the website.
For any questions about these terms, email hello@bloqq.co.
